Photoelectric Proximity Sensors - W12 Series

SICK W12-3 photoelectric sensors are enclosed in a rugged metal housing for demanding applications. Distinguished by the ability to offer reliable detection over long sensing distances. The sensors are compatible for various operations, with the in-built SICK ASIC technology. The W12-3 photoelectric sensors offer many advantages over conventional optical sensors due to superior OES technology. With a wide selection of variants, simple mounting and excellent detection reliability, even under difficult conditions.

PinPoint LEDs detect all kinds of objects including transparent objects, light & dark, large or small and even people. The PinPoint technology enables quick and easy sensor alignment and provides a precise, highly visible light spot that is unaffected by peripheral light.

The W12-3 heavy duty photoelectric sensors are designed to enable intuitive set-up. Teach buttons and LED indicators located or the rear panel allow the operator to quickly and easily set the minimum and maximum distances. In addition, the IO-Link function offers full process control, from commissioning to service.
