Linear Actuator Control Board

The LAC board from Actuonix is a standalone closed loop control board specially designed for the P series actuators. By using this LAC board with Actuonix actuators you can greatly simplify motor control designs, saving cost and time.
Actuonix motor control IC uses a software-based algorithm which optimises position and speed control. The linear actuator board is then compatible with a wide range of actuators, using only the default settings.
Full customisation is possible due to Actuonix Advanced Configuration Program.
The LAC can be operated as an interface board or a standalone controller with the addition of an external potentiometer and power supply.

Control Modes

0 V to 3.3 V Interface Mode

This mode allows an actuator to be controlled with just a battery, and a potentiometer to signal the desired position to the actuator.

RC Servo Interface Mode

A standard hobby-type remote-control digital servo interface, compatible with servos and receivers from other manufacturers.

4 mA to 20 mA Interface Mode

This mode is compatible with PLC devices typically used in industrial control applications.

PWM Mode

This mode allows control of the actuator using a single digital output pin from an external micro controller.

USB Mode

This mode allows control of the actuator via the computer.

Features and Benefits

• Several control modes available
• Compatible with P series actuators
• Can be operated as an interface board or standalone controller
