Amphenol C091B DIN connectors feature bayonet locking and a plastic outer shell which houses an internal metal snap together contact housing. Cable strain relief is provided by internal screw cable clamp and rubber boot. Termination is solder bucket.,Cable sockets only mate with cable plugs so that in-line connections can be achieved. Cable plug mates with both types of panel mount socket. The screw strain relief and rubber boot can accommodate cable to 6mm diameter.,Two types of panel socket are offered. One has butterfly wings which means the socket can be pushed through and will snap into position. The other uses a conventional ring nut to screw tighten the socket (use the same spanner as for C091D metal screwlocking DIN connectors). Maximum panel thickness for butterfly mount is 1.5mm.
