Anchored M12 connectors with PE

Lumberg Automation provide circular connectors which are mechanically and chemically robust. Their connectors are overmolded which provides protection from dirt and moisture improving life expectancy.

Features and Benefits:

M12 connectors are available in straight or angled versions, with an anchored cable gland to prevent strain on the cable. These connectors are also available in male or female versions with screw termination, this allows for fast and efficient connection.
The cable-mounts are compatible for cables with a diameter from 3.0 mm to 6.5 mm.

The contact surfaces are 8-poles pre-nickeled, gold-plated, which inhibits oxidation extending the life expectancy. Nickel is highly resistant to corrosion. Gold plating is also used to prevent tarnishing. The O-ring has been made from FKM which is a fluroelastomer rubber compound material. Advantages to this material are that it is highly heat resistant, ensuring durability in a wide range of temperatures.

For the housing material of this connector is PBT, which is a high-performance material, strong and commonly used in electronic and automotive products. It is durable, tough, resistant to moisture with an excellent resistance to heat. This makes it the ideal material for connector casing.
