APDS-9300 Ambient Light Photo Sensor
The APDS-9300 series, from Avago Technologies, are a family of miniature ambient light photo sensors with a digital (I²C) output. The device converts light intensity to a digital signal output for direct I²C interface. The APDS-9300 ambient light photo sensors consist of a broadband photodiode, an IR photodiode and two integrating ADCs. Suitable applications for the APDS-9300 series include; electronic signs/signals, automotive instrumentation clusters, automatic lighting management and display backlighting control in devices such as mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, PCs and TVs.
