The microprocessors supervisory circuit will reduce the complexity and amount of components used in order to monitor power supply and battery-control functions in μP systems. There are plenty of applications for the microprocessor supervisor, with some being in the automotive industry, industrial, servers & networking, laptops and notebook computers, controllers, critical μP monitoring, intelligent instruments such as testing equipment and portable battery equipment. The supervisory circuitry also provide maximum adjustability for reset & watchdog functions.
