Rayrim™ Adhesive Edging Strip
Rayrim edging or door seals also known as grommet strips, are extruded strips or seals made from black flame retardant radiation cross-linked polyolefin. Inside these sealing strips is an adhesive coating which is heat activated. When you heat the edging its profile changes from a V shape to a U shape while bonding to the chosen surface. The heat shrinking temperature range is 120 to 150 °C.
These heat shrink edging strips are flexible and therefore perfect for protecting both curved and straight edges. With a continuous operating temperature of -55 to 80°C these seals can provide protection under extreme circumstances
