Our company’s name change process has been completed, and going forward YE RS invoices will be issued under our official company name YE RS Solutions Oy. The Business ID remains the same as that of Elfa Distrelec Oy, so if you have previously been a customer of Elfa Distrelec, you do not need to create a new supplier. You only need to update the company name, address, and bank details:
o IBAN: FI08 8143 9710 0039 16
o SWIFT: DABAFIHH
o Operator ID: 003723327487
o E-invoice address: 003706804528
For clarification, we would like to emphasize that our sister company Yleiselektroniikka (Boreo) continues to operate as a separate company under its own Business ID (0116173-8). We are part of the same group but operate as distinct legal entities. Should you have any questions regarding our company, we will be happy to assist you.
Kind regards,
YE RS Team

We announced on 1 April 2025 that our parent company, Boreo Plc, had signed an agreement to acquire Elfa Distrelec’s sales operations in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania from RS Group plc, and that we are forming a new company, “YE RS,” combining Yleiselektroniikka’s existing RS business with the acquired Elfa Distrelec business. We are pleased to inform you that the transaction has been approved by both the Finnish and Estonian competition authorities and will therefore be completed on 1 August 2025.
This means that as of 1 August 2025, we will serve customers of both Elfa Distrelec and Yleiselektroniikka’s current RS business under the new company and the YE RS brand.
YE RS is the authorized RS distributor in Finland and the Baltic countries and offers over 800,000 products from 2,500 trusted suppliers. With this newly combined business, we will be able to provide our customers with a significantly broader product range, improved customer experience, more efficient operations, and additional value-added services.

Boreo Plc acquires Elfa Distrelec sales activities in Finland and the Baltics from RS Group and creates a new business by combining the acquired operations with its existing RS business
We are pleased to inform you that Boreo Plc has signed an agreement to acquire the sales activities of Elfa Distrelec in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania from RS Group plc and announced to create a new business by combining the acquired operations with its existing RS business.
This means that following completion of the transaction, the acquired Elfa Distrelec operations will be combined with Boreo’s existing RS business currently operated under Yleiselektroniikka in Finland and YE International in the Baltics.
With the new combined business we will provide customers with significantly wider product offer, improved customer experience, operational efficiencies and value-add services. Boreo and RS together plan to drive the future growth and aim to create a high-service, digital-led distributor of industrial and MRO products in Finland and the Baltics.
“Our history with RS dates back to early 1990s’ and we are delighted to strengthen our long-standing partnership with RS and to continue creating value in our markets. The strong alignment of RS and Boreo to drive sustainable long-term growth, build on partnerships and high standards of business ethics create a strong foundation for continued partnership and success. We are excited of the opportunity to create a new integrated growth platform, with attractive investment opportunities and an opportunity to create value for our customers” says Boreo CEO Kari Nerg.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory clearance in Finland and Estonia and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025. The process has begun, and we have every confidence that we will be able to proceed with the acquisition.
Until then, both businesses will continue to operate entirely independently and there will be no immediate changes for our customers.
We will keep you updated on the process and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
