HellermannTyton Metal Detectable Cable Ties MCTPP Series
Metal detectable cable ties have been designed for use in the food and pharmaceutical processing industries. A unique manufacturing process, involving the inclusion of a metallic pigment, enables even small 'cut-off' sections of the tie to be detected by standard metal-detecting equipment. These cable ties are ideally suited for the installation of cabling in and around the manufacturing process.
Features and benefits
• Magnetic and X-Ray detectable
• Will float to the surface of most liquids, allowing them to be easily removed
• High chemical resistance
• Remain flexible and elastic in high temperatures
• Metallic compound dispersed throughout the entire body of the tie
• Coloured to assist in detection
• Used as part of HACCP process
• Self-extinguishing (UL94 HB rating)
