Hook up your RS485 network cables with ease using this connector from Siemens. It's a circular M12 piece with a 12mm locking thread that fits to the end of a cable for connection to sensors, actuators and industrial Ethernet modules. This handy unit lets you connect multiple devices on the same bus to reduce cabling. With PROFIBUS, it transmits data at speeds up to 12Mbit/s for lightning-fast transfers. You can use this connector in applications such as factory automation, agricultural processing and transportation infrastructure.
There are five units in a pack, so you'll have enough on hand for complex setups or to keep as spares.
It has integrated insulation displacement contacts. These cut through the insulation during fitting, so all you need to do is push the cable onto the end for an airtight seal.
