Product Details
This KVM switch converts a laptop into a portable crash cart, providing BIOS-level control of headless systems via VGA and USB connections. It is USB-powered from the host so no external mains supply is required, and the Compact form factor supports mobile troubleshooting for servers, industrial PCs, ATMs and kiosks. The unit includes an integrated VGA video lead and USB keyboard/mouse link to enable instant access without server-side software.
It draws power from the host USB connection, removing the need for external power.
Mouse functionality can be limited or non-functional in some BIOS/UEFI environments.
On Linux, only standard US English QWERTY keyboard configuration is supported.
The package includes the USB crash cart adapter and a USB A to Mini-B cable.
