This steel, zinc-plated sling point is a hard-wearing shackle that can be used for lifting heavy objects and equipment. Its part of our tried-and-tested RS PRO range.
Shackles act as metal connection links between heavy loads and the machinery (or people) used to lift them. This sling point is made entirely from steel, which is durable, long-lasting and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
To use, simply attach the sling point to the container and pass a rope through the ring to lift. When not in use, the ring is kept flat against the container by a handy leaf spring. This is less obtrusive than a common eye bolt and is also less likely to cause damage and wear.
With corrosion-resistant zinc-plating, these sling points can be used almost anywhere. Theyre also RoHS-compliant, meaning they contain only trace amounts of restricted hazardous substances.
