SOLISTRAND sight hole closed barrel butt splices designed to terminate solid and stranded wire and irregular shaped conductors. These SOLISTRAND sight hole closed barrel butt splices are made from fine grade high conductivity copper with tin plating and have closed barrels with brazed seams that create a uniform metal strength around the barrel. The inner surface of the barrels of these SOLISTRAND sight hole butt splices are either dimpled or serrated for maximum tensile strength and to maximise the electrical contact area after crimping
For suitable hand crimp tool see stock number 817-325 and stock number 373-308 for die assembly or hand crimp tool stock number 162-3159
